The Scout reviews Gameweek 25

Moussa Sissoko tops the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index for Gameweek 25 after scoring twice in Newcastle United’s comeback win over Chelsea. Jimmy Kebe sits in second spot, having notched both Reading’s goals in a 2-1 home triumph over Sunderland, while Marouane Fellaini completes the top three thanks to a brace in Everton’s draw with Aston Villa.

Arsenal 1-0 Stoke City

Laurent Koscielny was awarded the maximum bonus points (BP) in Saturday’s narrow win over Stoke. Deputising for the injured Thomas Vermaelen at centre-half, Koscielny produced a shot on target, 2 successful tackles and a block, while Mikel Arteta earned a couple of BP upon his return from a calf problem. The Spaniard made a successful tackle, a couple of interceptions, 64 completed passes and a pair of successful dribbles, while Lukas Podolski picked up a single BP after climbing off the bench to fire home the hosts’ deflected winner.

Everton 3-3 Aston Villa

Marouane Fellaini received the maximum bonus points (BP) as Everton came from behind to salvage a draw at home to Aston Villa. The Belgian notched twice as the Toffees clawed back a 3-1 deficit and also produced 5 shots on target – he has now returned 24 BP this season. The winger scored both the Royals’ goals and also had a clearance, an interception and 4 crosses amongst his EA SPORTS stats – he has now produced attacking returns in three of the last four Gameweeks.
